This is partially in response to the last post, but I was planning to post it anyway: I finally tried sunwishes Friday night and I thought it was GREAT. I'm pretty sure that someone had posted a while ago... I wanted to share my whole experience with the board.
A friend and I split a whole bunch of stuff:
A Curried lentil wrap - it was basically pureed lentils with a smoky curry taste that was phenomenal, wrapped in Ethiopian-style spongey soft bread.
A Roasted vegetable pizza - tasty tangy tomato sauce, crunchy crust, topped with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, normal green random veggies and mushrooms - and dollops of a really delicious, spicy and chunky pesto.
A Mediterranean platter - pretty standard, but good.
And then we split a piece of (vegan!?) kahluah cheesecake that was just fantastic.
Coffee was served in individual French press pots.
I was very impressed with all the flavors and creative combinations, but the amount of food you get there for your money is just ridiculous -- SO generous!
I will definitely be back, over and over again.
