I have been tasked with selecting a restaurant destination for a work reunion dinner to take place on a Sunday night with six people - my husband, four other guys, and myself. We are in our late 20's/early 30's and would like a place with good food (probably of the Western variety, ie. American/Italian/Mediterranean, etc), central location (ie. as far north as Midtown to as far south as the Flatiron/Union Square... one of us will be coming in from Long Island City), and a vibe that is trendy/good for groups. Ideal cost would be around $60 per person after tax/tip/drinks, but we are flexible.
I was eyeing Quality Italian - particularly if we go family style and share a bunch of dishes - but not sure if that will be too 'much' for a Sunday night dinner?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
