This is a new thing for me...hosting a picnic for my department staff at work, at my house (with its small back yard, tho' deck easily seats 6), about 30-35 adults and a dozen children and a couple babies.
The food will surely be wonderful as my staff includes Latina, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Cambodian, Jewish, and African-American folks, and all are bringing dishes.
However, being new to this, I'm a little nervous about how late we're getting going on getting ready. I thought I'd post and see if anyone has thoughts about what I should be sure not to forget to do or buy, to help things go smoothly!
