Sunday Brunch; Sonnys in Adams Village Dorchester

Stopped into Sonny's yesterday with the intention of grabbing a steak & cheese, but the breakfast buffet looked pretty good. I wouldn't say it was destination dining, but for $13; I was pretty happy. The eggs benedict were hot and cooked perfectly, the hash browns were probably Sysco, but everything else was good. Plenty of nice crisp bacon, tender sausages; chicken & broccoli in alfrado sauce; french toast; fresh fruit; danish; bagels; roast beef along with an assortment of cakes. The carrot cake was especially good. They were pretty crowded and the buffet ran until 2:00. I noticed they were still filling the trays ten minutes prior so everything was fresh. So, if you're in the area give it a try.
