At $13.49 a bottle when you buy by the case. This is the wine I mentioned in an earlier post which the Wine Spectator scored a 92 which is an incredible score for a wine under $20.00. With the Total price and adding in the case discount this is among the best prices I have ever seen for any highly rated red wine in the several decades I have been buying wine. I should note that the "list" price on this wine is slightly under $20.00 which is still an excellent price.
They took delivery of it on Friday and it is in good condition, the weather did not effect it. I can confirm this because several friends of mine and I decided to test a bottle from each of the four cases we bought.
It's in good shape!
But we're not. (Where's the aspirin?)
Anyway, for anyone that wants a seriously good wine at an absolute bargain basement price you should consider taking advantage of this on Monday. This is the same wine that Calvert Woodley sold over 50 cases of in eight hours about two weeks ago. It is also possible that the other Total stores have their allocation in.
By the way as good as this is right now if you can afford to put it away for several years and give it some bottle age it will be even better.
