I did a cursory search of the boards on this topic, but I confess that I was pressed for time so I didn't search exhaustively. I hope this topic hasn't been addressed too frequently.
Anyway, a friend of mine and I are hoping to go for Thai food tonight. We're willing to venture out a bit from our West L.A. location (where we've pretty much given up on getting nice, fresh, spicy, and interesting Thai food), but we're not up for a drive to Orange County today. If any of you have have recommendations for great summer rolls (I don't know if I'm using the right term--I'm talking about those large rolls that are typically chock full of veggies, cilantro, often shrimp, and are *not* fried and are often served at Thai and sometimes Vietnamese places) and good Thai food generally, I would really love to hear about them.
Thanks, in advance, for your help.
