Hosting a group of 5 adults and 5 kids, all fairly adventurous omnivores, for a birthday dinner. I really really wanted to make Momofuku bo ssam, but is it insanity to have the oven on for 6 hours when the temp is forecast to be 27 celsius? Any other ideas? I was going to start with watermelon gazpacho, which at least makes more sense in balmy weather. I guess we could just buy a bunch of nice steaks and grill them, but i would love to do something with more of a wow factor.
