Suishi King in Green Valley a big SO SORRY!

Scarchest | Feb 7, 2004 12:16 AM

Went to the new Sushi King on Business Parkway in Green Valley (Fairfield) for lunch on tues. Had the Bento lunch and although it was a bit un-organized there, and waited longer then it should of, had a nice Teriyaki chicken with shrimp tempura and calif. roll for $7.50. Miso soup was good and hot, the salad was ok and a bit watery, the tempura was served warm and a little soggy and the chicken was very good.. Overall, it was ok.

Decided to give it another try for dinner on Friday. Although we made reservations at 5:00 at 5:45 we were served luke warm soup, and a salad that had water for dressing. After watching a few people get served that arrived after us, we asked where our food was. We then found out that our ticket was lost and all they could say was "SO SORRY, SO SORRY…". At 6:15 we received tempura prawns that were not cooked (still had the pancake mix on them, chicken Teriyaki was cold, Calif rolls were not great , but editable. When we told them about the prawns, again “SO SORRY SO SORRY, we give you 10% back on that dinner only”. which amounted to $1.10.

Bottom-line, this restaurant will not make it!! And is not worth the time or the effort to try. It’s really too bad, since the people here in Green Valley have to drive approx 6 miles to find a somewhat decent restaurant.
