Suggestions for a super-cozy, non-stuffy romantic dinner

Hi experts --

Anyone up for a challenge? :)

My wife and I will be visiting for a few days, and I'd be grateful for your help in finding a restaurant with the following parameters. Adding a few restaurants we've enjoyed in the last few years in hopes that the context is helpful...

1) Romantic, cozy and quiet (for context, we enjoyed the ambience at Lupa)
2) On the smaller side (we loved this about the Clam, as well as the sadly now-closed East of 8th (RIP))
3) Offers one the option to eat on the lighter side if one wants to (i.e. nothing too heavily meat-centric, fried-food-centric or "comfort food" focused...perhaps think menus like Rouge Tomate, though without the trendiness)
4) Not stuffy (not a place where everyone is in t-shirts, but a place where nice jeans wouldn't be unwelcome)
5) Takes reservations, and has a reasonable chance of having one available a couple of weekends from now
6) Memorably delicious (obviously ;-))

Others we've already visited in the past and really enjoyed:

- Fish Cheeks, Oiji and Atoboy (loved all of these, so I'm certainly open to other Asian cuisine suggestions)
- Mas Farmhouse - Again, really liked both the ambience and the food here...something like this would be great
- Fung Tu (good, but falls under the "too heavy" category IMO)

Location can be anywhere in lower Manhattan. Price need not be a factor.

I'm currently holding a booking at Maialino, and will plan to go there unless I can find anything that better fits the criteria above. While the food looks excellent, it's bigger and less cozy-looking than I'm hoping for.

Many thanks in advance!
