The BF and I will be spending one night in SF on March 2nd and am looking for a delicious place to eat! Vague, I know. Biggest limitation is price, would like to keep it in the teens for entree price. Also dinner will be later, we probably won't even make it downtown until about 8:00pm, so places that close at 9:00 or earlier won't be an option.
We are staying at Intercontinental Mark Hopkins. We will have a car but will prefer to just walk or take a shortish (under 10 min) cab ride. I think the menus at Marlowe and Wayfare Tavern look super delicious but those are both a bit too pricey. Gamine looks good but maybe a bit far? He wants to try Red Crawfish but I was kind of wanting something a little nicer than that, and not really looking for "ethnic" (Asian, indian etc) for this trip.
So, any great suggestions? :)
