Need suggestion for goup dinner, cost not an issue

Sounds like a dream right? Well, lucky I guess. I need some suggestions for dinner for a group of about 20 in a great place, excellent food, preferably w/ a private dining room but not REQUIRED. It is a sponsored dinner, so cost is not an issue. Thus far, we've done it at Rialto, Sel de la Terre, Grill 23, Skipjacks, Ambrosia on Huntington. Its best when the restaurant doesn't try to dupe you into a truly crappy (but well disguised) pre-set menu that the kitchen can "handle" but rather gives you a wider choice of the menu so you can actually eat what they're known for (even though you're paying the same prices). Any ideas/experiences would be greatly appreciated!
