Here's what I like. Can you suggest others?

I need some new places to go! I have lived in NYC for 13 years but need some new suggestions.
Here are my favorites in NO particular order. I like these places for various reasons and I realize the list is very diverse! I left out the Gotham's and Babbo's of the world. No need to list those. Just looking for Chowhounder's suggestions for "gems" I am missing or newer places I haven't gotten to yet (like Sfoglia? Flex Mussels, John Dory?) As you can see from the below list, I like the cozy, smaller places as opposed to the Bar Americain's of NYC...

Perilla, Donguri, Lupa, Dovetail, Barbone, Degustation, Momofuko Ssam, Momofuko Ko, Little Giant, Shorty's.32, Apizz, Sushi of Gari, Sushi Seki, Casa Mono, Landmarc (downtown), Hearth, Cookshop, The Tasting Room (when it was still around), Tia Pol, El Qunito Pino, Las Ramblas, WD-50, Prune, Little Owl, Market Table, Annisa, EN, Pio Pio, Fig and Olive...

(FYI, to help: I didn't love Allen&Delancey or Rayuela...)

Any suggestions???
