Sugarland, Houston TX

bbit | Jun 20, 200506:13 AM     7

Company is moving my spouse to Sugarland.
Could people kindly let us know the chow strengths of Houston in general (and Sugarland in particular). Also any communities to the SW of Houston metro as it looks like that is where we will be.

Particular interests:

-oysters
-crawfish
-real ale
-good (but reasonably priced) wine lists & wine bars
-tandoor / Indian in general
-regional Mexican
-one-of-a-kind/unusual and/or long-established places
-European cuisines

We are going on a scouting mission next weekend so will try to sample and report back on any recommendations.

Thanks you.
B
