SugarBee Apples

jammy | Aug 21, 202103:38 PM

A bag of SugarBee Apples was an impulse buy at the local grocery store. I hadn't seen this variety before and I LOVE apples. This one is going into the shopping basket on a regular basis now. It's a cross between a honeycrisp and an unknown variety and it's sweet, crispy and juicy. If you like apples with a bit of a pucker, this one won't be for you, but I'd say it's got better flavour overall than a honeycrisp and it's a much more manageable size.

I'll need to bake a small pie or crumble to see how it bakes up, but it is an excellent eater.
