Sugarbear or Honeybear in Macon or Albany, GA

chipbrantley | Aug 24, 200611:11 PM     12

When I was in college in the early 1990s, a couple of friends from Georgia used to talk about a place called either Sugarbear or Honeybear, in either Macon or Albany. It was a meat-and-three that supposedly served pork chops the size of bricks and a dinner plate each of the vegetables. Anyway, details were always fuzzy on the place, and I always suspected that maybe it didn't even exist. I saw one of the guys at a wedding a few years ago and asked him about it, but he was evasive (plus it was very late).

Can anybody help me out?
