Following VI's advice (good advice at that) to use prosaic but easily searchable subjects, I am on a quest for a suckling pig to roast.
And I don't mean some suckling hog. I mean a little piggy that will measure about 18 inches stem to stern.
I recently had my annual baby lamb (excellent, from Bismallah Market on Devon just east of California, half a lamb weighed about 6 1/2 pounds and was happily eaten by two couples) and now that I have confirmed two years running that you can get such lamb, I want to expand my horizons.
If ever there was a forum to ask for advice in this quest, Chowhound is it. Please, help me out.
