Spent three nights earlier this week in the city. We had three great dinners. Cote, Marea, and La Vara.
Cote had a great vibe, and in addition to the stellar cuts of meat (went with Butcher's Feast option), the sides are fantastic.

Marea was another spot with a great, hopping atmosphere. Most of what I ordered was very good (including perfectly seared scallops), but risotto seemed a bit bland. Not blown away but excellent.
Took the train to Cobble Hill and had a superb meal at La Vara. From the really tasty gin and tonic, to small plates with charred artichokes, and grilled eggplant, to the smoked suckling pig.....all really delicious.

Of the three, would most likely return to La Vara.
