Stumped--Sunday in Nice (and more)

siam | Aug 10, 201504:02 PM     6

We will be in Nice for 6 nights in October, 6 nights based in Avignon and 2 nights in Antibes. We have just started to put together our restaurant list.

Tentatively, in Nice we have shortlisted
Bistro d'Antoine
La Meranda (is there anyway to make reservations before we actually arrive in Nice?)
Chez Palmyre
Flaveur

Antibes:
Bacon
Perhaps Restaurant du Figuier.

We need two more places for dinner in Nice.

1. One is on a Sunday night--where on earth should we go? Nothing seems open. What are the Sunday night options? We were considering get the ravioli from Maison Barale but I'm assuming that Barale's is closed on Sunday. Is that correct?

2. We arrive in Nice on a Friday night around 5:30 pm. We will have flown in from LAX. We will be staying in an apartment near the Negresco Hotel. Is there anything in that area that you would suggest for dinner after our long flight?

3. One more question--we were planning to take a food tour on Sunday. The day will primarily be in Viewx Nice. Will everything be closed? Should we consider taking the tour another day?

And if you want to tell me that my shortlist is off base, please do so. Thanks all.
