Restaurants & Bars 20

I'm coming to Boston for a couple days from New York to see my mom (who is in town for a conference) next weekend.

We'd like a nice place for dinner. We are looking for a restaurant near downtown or not far from a Green Line T stop (I feel like such a tourist - don't know all your terms, but I hope that makes sense)

I know almost nothing about Boston dining, but in reading a little I have decided that places like Rialto, L'Espalier, Clio or Radius might be nicer than we want (probably couldn't get a reservation anyway).

I was intrigued by Sibling Rivalry but read some reviews that left me unexcited.

Can you help?
