I am taking my mom to sushi for lunch in Studio City today, but am undecided on the place. I have been wowed by Urasawa and prefer to do omakase at higher quality joints; whereas my mom is more of a California/cucumber roll kind of gal. So, looking for something in the middle that will satisfy us both. Thoughts are turning to Sugarfish, Kiwami, or Katsu-Ya. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
