Paused to read the nightly chalkboard & settled on the grilled duck breast w/a venison-blueberry sausage & choice of potatoes-I chose mashed w/cheddar, plus house Cesar salad=12.95+tax. Duck medallions were perfectly done, cripsy edges & med rare to rare centers. Salty(or maybe duck had a heavily, salt-rubbed surface) mahogany sauce-?hoison w/very strong cardamon flavor(too strong). Will next time order w/out sauce. Red mashed pots were comforting. Venison-bluberry sausage was tasty, crisp & firm with blueberry running down center. I love their house Cesar. Very crisp romaine w/big, crunchy croutons & very garlicky dressing. Duck, potato & salad portions, easily enough for 2 meals, but I devoured that sausage. Lots a fish options always on the menu as well as 2 soups, one of which was potato leek(can't remember the other). Noticed key lime pie offered among the desserts. Grabbed a bottle of wine next door & happily headed for home to feast in front of the evening news.
