A month ago I tasted Straus Family Creamery's new organic whole chocolate milk. I actually walked past the sample table because I don't normally drink fluid milk. But then I doubled back, well, because almost everything Straus produces is high quality, and this proved to be so as well. Not having tasted chocolate milk for decades, I don't have much of a frame of reference for this. What I can say is that this is rich with chocolate flavor from the high proportion of organic cocoa powder. Also, the sweetness level is geared more for adult taste rather than the candied sugar for kids foods. The product is also lactose-free. This actually tastes better than a fast food chocolate milkshake.
