Strategizing Houston

Hey -

I'll be in your fine town next week (possibly weekend as well) for some work in the Medical Center area. Most likely will be staying at the Marriott on Fannin, and will likely have a car.

Just did a very brief search and didn't come across any monstrous threads yet. I'd really appreciate it if y'all wouldn't mind revisiting this topic, and helping me eat well during my stay.

I'll eat anything, not limited by cuisine whatsoever, but somewhat financially limited. Basically looking for anything that's cheap-to-moderately priced (moderate for me being about $15-20 entree).

I got the impression that I'm probably best off getting out of the Medical Center area. Having said that, I'd obviously prefer not to go too far out of the way and have to deal with traffic & parking, since time will be somewhat limited. A 30min venture (one-way) is probably my max.

Appreciate your help !

PS. I hope to have some specific questions once I get a chance to really perform some due diligence
