I would like to express my thanks to bg for suggesting Stork on the roof.
Went there last night and the food and service were above my expectations.
This is definitely my new favourite.
The squid in the salad I ordered was perfectly grilled, and generous,with a light dressing.
My crusted Tuna was a large portion, red in the centre, just as I had requested it, and beautifully sliced and laid on a bed of julliened vegetables, and julienned potatoes.
The seasoning was extraordinary.
Pomegranate, cloves, herbs, and the secret ingredient that I could not identify, and needed to ask was fish sauce.
I have never eaten better Tuna.
The rack of lamb was pronounced sweet, and delicious, as was the special fish of the day which was Monkfish.
This restaurant actually tells you the price of the days "specials".
When we ordered a wine, the server suggested another a little more woody, and to our surprise is was of a lesser price.
It was perfect for our meal.
I am very particular, and have tried many restaurants posted here with O.K. results, or disasters.
