I've been trying to find some answers on this but haven't had much luck so far.
I'm making some tiramisu this weekend. The basic gist of the question is how long can I store it in the fridge? I hear about a week is good before it turns ugly. Most recipes seem to say that you should store it in the fridge for 24 - 48 hours before eating. Is the 1 week including or after this time?
If I want to freeze the tiramisu (so I can give it to someone more than 1 week later), should I freeze it after the 48 hours or immediately after making it? How long is it good for frozen? Should I thaw it in the fridge or at room temperature? How long should it thaw? Is saran wrap around the tiramisu fine or should I use some vacuum bags?
Also, the recipe I'm using ( http://allrecipes.com/recipe/tiramisu... ) cooks the eggs a bit instead of using raw eggs.
