Best way to store/transport chocolate truffles in warm weather?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what is the best way to transport chocolate truffles in warm weather since my fiancee and I want to make some as wedding favors for our wedding. We know it can be done since retailers like Godiva offer them for weddings year-round, but we're not sure about the logistics. We usually make truffles coated with cocoa powder but have found them very susceptible to melting in warm weather. Would coating them with tempered chocolate make them fare much better?

As for storing them, someone suggested to me that they shouldn't be stored in the refrigerator--but in a cool area preferably around 65-70 F. I can see that the resulting condensation after taking them out would probably ruin a cocoa powder finish, but is there any other reasons for not storing them in a fridge, if they're wrapped to reduce absorption of odors?

Regarding transportation, someone mentioned using blue ice or other similar ice packs in a cooler along with paper towels to try to absorb any moisture/condensation. I inquired about dry ice, but the salesperson said that the dry ice would wind up freezing the chocolates.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.
