My friend and I finally tried this place out.

Holy cow, why didn't I try it before now? Okay, this place needs a little work on the inside decor, but we sat outside and had a very pleasant meal at a good price.

we both had the lunch specials; i had the teriyaki chicken sandwich and she had just the grilled chicken with grilled onions and swiss. (both came with really good peppered fries and a drink for $5.95).

Guy behind the counter was very friendly/happy, our orders came out quickly and with a smile, our drinks were refilled twice AND they gave us each $1 off coupon and were told we'd get one every time we came in.

My sandwich was excellent, chicken had a wonderful smoky flavor (had it been grilled over a wood fire?) and was not chewy or dry; in fact, very moist and flavorful. Fries were slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside and had sea salt and pepper, tea was good "texas tea".

I very much enjoyed it. (I love it when I discover new places)

(oh, and i ended up getting a real steal on two very large plants - $10 each! - from the nursery next door.)
