Ok, maybe it is because I am from New England where we have Lobsters with a whole different set of claws. But HOW in the name of all that is good in life are you supposed to extract the meat from a stone crab claw? I got a plate of them for $30 and got about 2 ounces of meat in my mouth and a huge mess all over the table! The meat stuck to the claw like it was superglued inside them, I felt like a complete and utter fool.
I know this seems like such a foolish question to a Floridian, but please! Enlighten me as the proper way to eat them without starving to death after ordering a plate of them.
