I'm traveling with my fiance to Stockholm (also a few other cities, which I am posting separately about for you) in late August to Sept. I have done a fair bit of research and have a tentative plan (of course, pending me getting the reservations etc.)
Price does not matter at all- I just want to make sure we have fantastic food, a unique experience and ideally that we won't be driving all over the place (my fiance will kill me if we are constantly travelling long distances to get to every meal).
We tend to like to do a casual/ inexpensive/ quick lunches (outside if it's nice weather) and then splurge a bit more at dinner with tasting menus and michelin meals.
I would love your input on my ideas below- I'm totally open at this point.
dinner- Mathias Dahlgren Matbaren
Day 2 (tues)
Lunch at Ulla Windbladh OR Oaxen slip- any insight on which may be better? how far is slip from the centre of the city? is there anythign to see/do once out there?
Day 3 (wed)
Lunch at Operakallaren Operabaren (or one of the two above if you think this is a weak choice)
Dinner - Gastrologik
Day 4 (thurs)
Ostermalmshallen market - any recommendations on what to eat there for breakfast or lunch?
Dinner- Ekstedt OR Esperanto- any thoughts on which is better (or are both so good I should bump Gastrologik?)
Also I am wondering where the best places are for Tunnbrödsrulle?
Thanks in advance!
