Very good delivery/carry-out pizza from (i think the name is) Anthony's (or Little Anthony's or Anthony and Lisa) Sorry, St. Louis residents--i'll get the name for anyone who's interested. Anyway, they stuck a flyer on my doorknob on a night i arrived home too tired to cook and delivered a very nice, not too thick, not too thin pesto pie. Of course, i grated some Gruyere on top and tossed it under the broiler for a minute, but the crust and toppings were good--the best non sit-down restaurant pie so far.
Bandana's (Clayton) has very good barbecue. I got a test combo, and the chopped pork was better than the ribs. The sauce came in packets and was just ok, though they do have a selection. Makes me want to make up a batch of my own sauce and use their meat which is, after all, well-smoked and pretty tasty.
Finally, watch this spot for a long review of Cafe Provencal.
