I purchased "sweet rice" in bulk at Whole Foods and steamed it, hoping that it would replicate the terrific sticky rice served at Nam in Tribeca, NYC, and other Vietnamese places I have enjoyed. While the steaming technique turned out ok, the rice was nothing like the sweet-ish dish I was hoping to recreate. What else must I do to the rice after steaming it? Can anyone offer a complete recipe for making sweet and tasty sticky rice?? Thanks!!
