I have just seen two (wow!) types of white "sweet rice" at my local asian food store .. leaving me wondering if they can be used interchangeably or each has a different usage? Is glutinous rice = sweet rice?
One was short, round, about 1/4 inch long grains
The other was thin, skinny, about 1/3 inch long
I want to make Thai sticky rice with mango, and Lotus Leaf sticky rice over the weekend.
