I know that, even before the pandemic, the Chicago board has been moribund for years as to restaurant chatter (other than nostalgia) but, if anyone is still reading it, here's a shout-out to the Topolobampo at Home 5-course tasting menu, which we had on Saturday (menu linked here, https://www.rickbayless.com/wp-conten...). Not only was the food terrific, but so were the preparation & plating instructions.
We are looking forward to the days when "normal" returns (or at least the return of warmer weather permits comfortable outdoor dining). In the meantime, if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion at home with a restaurant style meal, I cannot overpraise Topolobampo at Home.
