I just "discovered" steamed pork buns...far, far too late in life! Problem is, this discovery happened in New York's Chinatown and now I'm afraid to return to Boston in case we have no equally wonderful local source. The buns I ate were the texture I'd imagine clouds to have if they were made of yeast and water...I've been cautioned that there are a lot of stodgy renditions out there.
Who makes the best steamed pork buns in Boston - preferably take-out? It would be comforting to have both a Chinatown and a Brookline-area option. TIA!
