Steamed Crabs Memorial Day Weekend

Hello. My husband and I have a tradition of eating crabs on our deck every Memorial Day (as does 90% of Baltimore)... We just moved to Lauraville and are looking for a take out place where we can reserve a bushel of crabs for a certain day. When we were in Catonsville we always reserved them at Sea King... however I am having no luck finding such a place in the Lauraville area. I actually inquired about this last fall and was given Conrad Crabs as a suggestion but when I called them, they told me that I couldn't reserve.

I guess my second question is are reservations really necessary? How do you comfortably plan a weekend around a crab feast without knowing you will have your crabs? I have only lived in Baltimore a little under 9 years and always went to Sea King and always reserved. Are reservations not needed? Can I just walk into Conrads (or other establishment) and order a bushel and have no problems getting them? Where do you go get crabs in the Lauraville area if you cannot reserve them? And we do want to order a half bushel / bushel... not by the dozen...

Suggestions (and schooling!) greatly appreciated... I don't want to have to drive to Catonsville for crabs the rest of my life!! :)
