just recently had a bone in rib eye at Flemings - one of the better steaks i have had in a while. cooked a little more than i would have liked (requested rare and to be served on cold plate) - but the meat was so good, i didn't bother to send it back. really tender. mushrooms as side were good though the sauteed spinach and horseradish potatoes were lackluster. surprise hit was the tenderloin carpaccio which was excellent with the basil and green onion garnish served - excellent. buddies were underwhelmed with the french onion soup. service was great albeit fast/rushed at times (clearing plates) and the restaurant was certainly loud and hoppin'.

Latest issue of Gourmet (restaurant issue) makes mention of Lincoln as a new place in LA to get a steak - any thoughts? Anyone been? Thanks!
