Just had friends visiting last weekend - we stopped off at Pastis where I had the steak tartare - which I enjoyed. Wondering what other places other chowhounds have tried - and their thoughts. Have already started collecting receipes - and will try making my own in time. Side note - when I was in Dubrovnik, a person at another table order steak tartare - the waiter must have mixed the raw steak and spices for a good 10 minutes, quite a production (kinda like Rosa Mexicano's gaucamole, no?). Anyway - any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
