This steak prep is from one my comments on the WFD thread.
Take your favorite cut of steak and using a fork or knife tip make a series of shallow punctures in the meat (both sides).
Brush with soy sauce and gently rub it into the surface. Repeat with toasted sesame oil.
Fine mince some garlic and rub it into the steak, making sure to press into the shallow holes.
Grill, broil, or fry to your desired “doneness”.
Cut into bite size pieces and eat Ssam style rolled in steamed cabbage, leaf lettuce, perilla, or other leaves with some ssamjang or your favorite meat sauce.
