A steak through my heart

In a singular, coordinated attack, my left anterior descending coronary artery was pummeled by a cholesteral tipped ordinance launched from kitchen operating in the covert recesses of a new dining hotspot in the South Bay. The lining of this precious
tiny artery may never be the same but all in all it was worth it. The steak was prepared with respect to the deceased ungulate and the diner whose exact wishes were met. A squat cylinder of browned and seared protein, the remnants of the deceased's psoas muscle was soft but not completely unyielding with a glowing sunset red interior that tranformed the adjacent broccoli into a novel, orange hued vegetable.
The proteinaceous offering was carried to the diner's table and cleared from it with good humor and attentiveness. High hopes for carnivores,indeed.
