Staying at San Diego Downtown Manchester Hyatt - looking for rec's

Hi Everyone,

I've done some research, I'm surprising my hubby on a weekend trip to SD, and was looking for some chowworthy places for dinner and brunch. We're looking for casual good eats for a little weekend getaway, doesn't have to be super fancy, but just good food. Also any tea houses for afternoon tea maybe? We'll have a car, but also looking for recs that are walking distance, (which it sounds like there aren't many?)

I've read lots of reviews and was wondering about a few places. I read something about a brunch next to the hyatt in downtown? Is that not a part of the Hyatt, I didn't really find a name of the restaurant. Also any other brunch suggestions for good eggs and scrambles, pancakes? I saw the website that someone had about sunday brunch places, but it looked more like a list of everything, rather than opinions on everything?

Other places to try were convoy for dumplings, prado for a nice dinner, was also looking into the lunch prixe fix at nine-ten, but is that available on sundays and mondays? i couldn't find their web site.

Also mama testa's seems to be a favorite, is it hard to get to and can you eat there? i'm not a huge mexican food fan, but my hubby likes it, so might give it a go for him.

Also wanted to go to extraordinary desserts - any opinions or favorites? better for breakfast or after dinner?

Also thinking about mille fleurs - favorite dishes?? Georges seems to be a favorite, but not sure we're looking for spend that much.

Lastly, I know this doens't belong on this board, but has anyone been to Spa Tiki, hard to find reviews about the place.

Thanks for any opinions or other suggestions and advice. I really appreciate it! SOrry if this post sounds a little distracted as I'm a little distracted right now hehe.
