Staub now owned by Zwilling……..dutch oven/cocotte question

shanny_banany | Jan 1, 201509:11 AM     11

I had been agonizing for months over whether to invest the money in a Staub dutch oven/cocotte. I found a Zwilling cocotte priced 50% off and it was simply too good to pass up, as I couldn't justify spending three times as much for a Staub. Now I find out after delving deeper that Staub is now a subsidiary of Zwilling anyway, although still an independent brand name. Is there any appreciable difference in the quality of a Staub vs Zwilling cocotte, or since they are now owned by the same parent company is the manufacturing the same and just a question of branding?
