I read an article in the SF Business Journal that was interesting. Not really telling any of us what we didn't already know but more quantifying specifcs on the state of the restaurant business here in the City. For example, seven percent in the past year went out of business.
It's interesting, even though most of us are keeping an eye on the purse these days people still dine out. My thinking, and my approach is that I'm more thoughtful--checking out a place, (Chowhound makes that simple), looking at the value or just returning to and exploring a favorite spot's menu a little bit more.
