Several years ago (we're talking about 30!), I had the absolute best pancakes that I'd ever eaten. I was told that it was from a old family recipe that was based on a "starter" dough kept in a jar in the refrigerator. As some was used for the pancakes, more was added later to the jar to age. Does this sound correct?
Does anyone out there do this? How do you do it?
Any info would be appreciated.
