Just got back from a trip which was, generally, wonderful, but involved several recommended restaurant which we left, without eating, as we simply couldn't converse. It would be wonderful to have a head's up about noise levels that preclude normal talk in all of your towns. You may want to go for the food but at least you'll know what you're getting into. In Boston, I found it impossible to hear my friends at Sweet Cheeks and at Legal Harborside on the first floor. In Oakland, we left the Wood Tavern. Wish I had known before we reserved. Sorry to stand up the restaurants but I won't stay and eat dinner in a cacophony. Please post! Tourists and travelers need to know.
