Celebrated our 33rd anniversary at Starker's Reserve Saturday evening, a restaurant no one ever talks about anymore but should. The food was wonderful, the service pleasant and the view across the Plaza was urbane. Appetizers to recommend are the beet salad with goat cheese and the, truly spectacular, seared scallops and kiwi. Both enjoyed the entrees, veal chop and buffalo tenderloin.
It's not hip, it's not in the Crossroads and the setting is simple, but it was a terrific meal. Starker's needs to be included as we recommend Plaza-area dining to visitors.
