Went to the local Starbuck's to get a grande iced tea with some extra lemon slices and the barista told me that Starbuck's doesn't do lemon slices for their iced tea but I could get a lemonade spritz that is a lemon juice with sugar and water...What!?
I don't want sugar in my tea...this global billion dollar conglomerate doesn't have lemons for my iced tea..still can't believe it.
I thought being Starbuck's, that I would have my choice of lemon, orange slice, mint, cinnamon, etc.
I called Customer Service today and they explained that even though the iced tea is one of their biggest sellers, no lemons to be had..even if they don't do any food handling, why can't their commissary slice and package lemons per store?
So if you want lemon with your iced tea drink at Starbuck's, be prepared to have it with sugar and a lemonade mix!
