Met a girlfriend for dinner last night and she suggested this place next to the Trader joe's.

We don't eat a lot of Indian these days but I thought it was quite good! We had the garlic shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was sauteed in a garlic sauce. Sweet and tender not rubbery at all.

For dinner we had the tandoori chicken and lamb kahari. The tandoori was presented sizzling on a cast iron dish with lots of onions and a bit of a sweet-sour sauce. I'd never seen it this way before. It was delicious, loaded with flavor, tender adn moist. Generous serving of two thighs and two breasts. The Lamb Karahi came in a small copper kahari dish. The lamb itself was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The sauce was flavorful and spicy with hints f curry. Also delicious.

Pappadams were brought at hte beginning of the meal and were light, crisp and tasty. We refrained from ordering naan as my friend avoids wheat so can't speak to how the naan was.

The service was very friendly and efficient. The bill was $41 including two iced teas. All in all a good meal. Will definitely try and get back.
