Stand Mixer - New User Recommendation

austin_rp | Jun 24, 202007:19 PM     38

I know there's a lot of threads on this, but many are years old. Also, I see a lot of people say, "I love my 15 year old Kitchen Aid" and then others say, "well, that's not what you would be getting today".

We are doing small bread batches and experimenting with a lot of other things (macarons today!). It's just two of us, so it's not usually large batches. It's everything from bread dough, pizza dough, macarons, and hopefully a lot more in the future.

From what I see, the main two recommendations are the KA Artisan 5qt (https://bit.ly/2NuscdI) vs. the Bosch Compact (https://bit.ly/3eycnP1). Although we have counter space, the larger 6qt KA is too high and we really prefer to keep it smaller.

Thanks for any feedback!
