We're having a heatwave here in the Pacific northwest. Houses here typically don't have air conditioning; mine doesn't. What are your ideas for preparing meals without adding much heat to the house?
Here are some of mine:
- barbecue outside
- buy rotisserie chickens at Costco and try to think ways to use them
- sandwiches / lettuce wraps made with deli meats
- ploughman's lunch (cheese plate)
- protein shake or smoothie instead of a nice meal (ugh)
