stains on my silpat

emdb | Jan 14, 2006 06:19 AM

I tried drying out some extremely wet candied ginger last night on a silpat lined cookie sheet in the oven, and of course burnt the whole thing. Most of the burnt sugar crust came off, but there a two small rings of sugar "stain" (all the crusty bits came of) still on my silpat. Am I stuck with these, or can some brave soul recommend deeper cleaning than soap and a scrub brush that won't ruin the finish?
